EVAD for wrestlers

Practice is already
the hard part.

Live wrestling is brutal conditioning and your coach already runs it. So EVAD's lifting is short and heavy — strength, pulling, grip, and neck — and it never adds conditioning that just duplicates what the room did to you. It manages your total weekly load and peaks you for the bracket.

SHORT & HEAVY NO DUPLICATE CONDITIONING BUILT AROUND MAT TIME
The rules EVAD follows

What it builds — and what it refuses to add.

NEVER

Extra conditioning

Live goes, drilling, and hard practice already cover it. Bolting a conditioning block on top is how wrestlers get slower in February, not fitter.

NEVER

Technique work

The mat belongs to your coach. EVAD writes what happens in the weight room and leaves the room alone.

BUILDS

Strength that holds

Heavy, low-rep work on the main patterns. In-season the goal is keeping the strength you built, not chasing new maxes between duals.

BUILDS

Pulling, grip, and neck

The three that decide hand-fighting and scrambles — trained deliberately instead of hoped for.

ACCOUNTS FOR

Total weekly load

Practice volume is treated as real load. Heavy days sit away from the hardest live sessions rather than on top of them.

ADAPTS

The week after a tournament

Tell it how you feel and the next session changes. A Saturday bracket should move Monday's plan.

A day from a real block

What one lift looks like.

An in-season varsity wrestler, lifting twice a week around five practices and a Saturday dual.
